YEAR 3 FOOTBALL VS CALDICOTT

Year 3 got their football season off to a flying start with 3 wins from 3. The Dragons demolished the home team as man of the match Dylan scored 3, Tancredi grabbed 2 and 2 own goals helped them to a 2-0 win. The All Blacks were relentless as they won 8-0 with Max scoring 6 and Caspar and Gabriel grabbing a goal apiece. The Springboks rounded off a great afternoon winning  9-1 with both Henry and Rex grabbed hat tricks, Callum scored 2 and Leo also found the net!

YEAR 3 FOOTBALL VS EATON HOUSE

The Dragons continued their impressive form as they won 7-0 with Dino hitting a hat trick within the first 3 minutes and adding another goal shortly after. Playmaker Dylan also got on the scoresheet, as did Carlos. Goalkeeper turned striker Moritz scored the goal of the game with a fantastic header to round things off.

The All Blacks were just as impressive as they won 6-0 with Max scoring another hat trick, Year 2 sensation Grayson grabbed 2 and Nicholas scored 1 goal. The Springboks won 12-0 as Kian, Henry and Leo all scored hat tricks! The Wallabies won 6-0 with 2 goals each from Alexander, Matthias and James. The Pumas won 10-0 as James scored an incredible 6 goals, Cormac hit a hat trick and Jack also found the net. Les Bleus rounded things off with an 8-0 win as Hugo scored 4 and Johnny, Leo M, Leo W and Aidan also added to the tally.

YEAR 2 FOOTBALL

In the past two weeks more than 50 year  2 boys, in 13 teams have represented Wetherby in matches against other schools, scoring more than 65 goals and conceding less than 5. An amazing achievement, as we continue our undefeated run of football matches this term.

More than 20 boys shared the flurry of goals, so well done to you all. However, a special mention to Duncan  (4 goals), Casper  (5 goals) and Filippo (6 goals) in one match!
